while she teaching at the Harlem Art Center and working at the New York branch of the WPA graphics division

and then a piece of wire through a hole for the horns and a piece of twine for the tail

Swiveling Antique Wooden Sweetheart Frame cactus and I think its linesI believe this lovely little wooden box frame would have been carried in a pocket, keeping a photograph of a sweetheart close to one's heart. The top swivels on a nail to open, and closes along the angled edge and is now just waiting for the image of a dear one to be complete again! Good condition, with a tiny bit of warping to the wood; it still swivels smoothy but is a hair off flush when closed. 3 3 4" l x 2 1 4" w x 3 8" d.
