Pair of Carved Lion Brackets, circa 1830 Cocuswood games table 000 in The Legend ofA rare and unusual pair of English wall brackets circa 1825 30 of carved lions holding a circular top, dry stripped to original gilding. It is likely that the inspiration for these brackets is French and that they were likely carved by immigrant craftsmen in a non traditional style as they strongly resemble the carved legs on tables known to be by the emigrant craftsman Louis Le Gaigneur.
